Why Should We Love Lemon Tea? | How To Make Lemon Tea At Home?

Many honey lemon tea recipes may be found on the internet, however, my family takes a different approach. This recipe marinates lemon slices for a week instead of squeezing a few drops of lemon juice and adding honey to a glass of water. It produces a concentrated lemonade with a superb flavor that is smooth and rich.

When you have congestion, lemon tea is a relaxing and comfortable beverage. With a few basic ingredients like black tea, honey, fresh ginger, and lemon juice, it's simple to create. It'll be ready in a matter of minutes!

Taking such a trip only to make a glass of lemonade sounds like a lot of work. However, after you've made this recipe, you'll experience that it produces a significantly greater flavor. The bitterness and astringency of the lemon will be removed throughout the marinating procedure. The lemon, as well as the rind, will get dehydrated as a result of the honey. The honey will change into a sweet, rich, and sour liquid after a week. You may make any cocktail you like with this liquid and the lemon slices.

What is Lemon Tea, exactly?

It's a simple drink that will instantly revitalize you when you take a sip. Black tea is cooked in water for a few minutes and then filtered into a cup to produce this simple and quick tea.

Combine the lemon juice and honey in a mixing bowl. Your tea is ready to drink!

You may also add some mint leaves to the tea while it's boiling; it gives a nice taste and makes the beverage even more pleasant. You may also prepare Lemon Iced Tea by bringing the filtered water to room temperature, then adding ice cubes, lemon juice, and honey.

Health Benefits

It keeps you hydrated and helps you lose weight by balancing your pH levels. Build your immunity as well.

Controls blood sugar levels, making it ideal for diabetics. It relaxes your throat when you have a cough or a cold, and it aids digestion by helping the kidneys and liver operate properly. Lemons are high in vitamin C, and this lemon tea is a delicious way to get your daily dose.

How to Make It?

Lemon tea may be made with only a fresh lemon and boiling water, which may come as a pleasant surprise. It's the most convenient, low-maintenance beverage for when you're sick–or for those of us who don't like coffee!

We don't measure anything when we prepare this at home. The lemon goes in, the water goes in, and we have warm citrus tea. We've supplied an approximate measurement for you to use as a guide and as needed for recipe clarity.

We brew lemon tea at home in two simple, lazy methods. We commonly create lemon ginger tea or lemon honey tea when we brew lemon tea.

Recipe

- Cut a lemon in half and strain the juice from one half into a cup, discarding the seeds and pulp. Finish with hot water and savor!

- Half of a lemon, cut into 6-8 circular slices, goes into the bottom of a cup. Top with hot water and soak for 3-4 minutes.

- To release additional lemon juice and flavor, gently smash the lemon slices against the bottom of the cup with a spoon.
